Triceratops horridus on the prairie

£20.00

A group of one of the most famous dinosaur species in the world, Triceratops horridus, is shown taking a stroll across a Late Cretaceous hillside. This reconstruction incorporates new data on the skin anatomy of this familiar dinosaur - unlike other horned dinosaurs, the backs of these animals were exclusively covered in huge polygonal scales, some of which were shaped into low, stunted spikes.
